Happy Birthday Jesus

A few days before Christmas, I planned a Birthday party for Jesus. It was a little more work than I had anticipated but it all came together and the kids enjoyed themselves. I think its important to have a Birthday party for Jesus because that's what Christmas is all about- celebrating when Jesus was born!

Santa even showed up! Shhh!! Don't tell anyone but it really is Tim's Grandfather.

 Riley could tell it was his Papaw. We told him he was one of Santa's helpers. On Christmas Day, Riley told me he wanted to thank Papaw for all his new toys. So I think he thinks his Papaw is Santa. That's fine by me!!

When we got home, Riley had the idea to send their balloons up to Heaven so that Jesus would have balloons on his Birthday. That melts my heart! Riley is so sweet and thoughtful!
